Frequently Asked Questions

Products & Services
Where do you obtain your artwork?
We obtain artwork on an “as needed” basis from a variety of fine art publishing houses in the United States, Canada and Europe. These are highly reputable publishing houses that have licensing agreements with the individual artists, museums and/or foundations to ensure that the latter receive royalties.
In addition we have a print inventory stretching back almost 20 years obtained from the same publishers. Many of these are rare and/or hard to find prints. These can be found in our Category Search under Rare Prints & Posters.
Can you obtain artwork that is not shown on your site?
The answer is Yes .. and No. In many instances we can find art which we do not have on our website. However, you probably know that not all art is available as a reproduction. That is especially true for art from contemporary artists. Feel free to contact us with any requests and we’ll do our best to track it down for you.
Do you sell individual prints / posters?
Generally speaking we do not sell prints or posters that are not in inventory. Some of the art prints from our Rare Prints & Posters collection can be found on our Etsy site. Feel free to contact us if you see something of interest.
Do the colors in your artwork match what I see on my screen?
All artwork is produced from color-calibrated printers. That said, there may be subtle tonal variations related to printing as well as the color range of you computer screen.
Can I request a custom size?
Most, but not all, of our prints can be customized to a specific size. There may be a small surcharge for custom sizing from certain of our suppliers. Please contact us with your specific size requirements.
Do you offer digital downloads of your art?
We do not offer digital downloads at this time.
What materials do you use to produce your various products?
Just Wall Decor offers finished artwork on either paper, canvas or aluminum composite. Please note that not all artwork is available in every format. All of our art and that from our publishers is created using high resolution images which are then printed with color-calibrated printers and archival inks for longevity.
Paper prints are printed on heavyweight art paper.
For canvas prints we use a high quality Epson semi-gloss canvas. The canvas has good texture and the sheen from the coating gives the impression of an oil painting.
Our “aluminum” panels are 3/16 inch aluminum composite panels which are rigid yet lightweight as well as being archival.
Can you briefly describe your various product styles?
Canvas Stretched for Framing: our art canvases are hand-stretched over 3/4 inch deep wooden stretcher bars and ideally should be placed into a frame. They do not have a wire hanger.
Gallery Wrapped Canvas: gallery wrapped canvases are hand-stretched over 1.5 inch deep wooden stretcher bars and come with a wire hanger. The side of each finished canvas has a mirror edge which gives the impression that the image continues and wraps around each of the four sides.
Museum Wrapped Canvas: our museum-wrapped art canvases are hand-stretched over 1.5 inch deep wooden stretcher bars and come with a wire hanger. In contrast to the gallery-wrapped canvases, the museum wraps are finished with a complimentary dark color (usually black) on all four sides.
Roll Canvas: roll canvas is simply unstretched canvas that you can have stretched or mounted by your local frame shop. This product is frequently requested by interior designers who have been accustomed to working with their own framers. It is a cost effective way to ship large canvases so as to avoid high shipping fees.
Art on Aluminum: artwork is protected with a ultrathin, non-glare laminate before being permanently mounted onto a thin aluminum composite panel. A hidden wooden frame is attached to the back which serves to “float” the finished artwork off the wall. A wire hanger is included.
Are gallery and museum wraps available in other thicknesses?
We can stretch these canvases on 1 inch stretchers if you prefer however since they are unframed, they tend to look very flat against the wall. Please drop us an e-mail after ordering if you prefer the thinner format.
Can I get a custom edge color for my museum wrap?
We can certainly try to provide you with a custom look. Ideally the edges of most museum wraps should be in a dark color so as not to visually detract from the artwork. Thus, for example, if your picture has a lot of brown and reds, we might prefer to use an espresso brown instead of black. In some cases, especially for a child’s room, white might be preferable. Please drop us an e-mail if you have a specific look in mind.
How accurate are your sizes?
Our sizes are rounded up or down to the nearest inch. Hence a 22.25 x 27.6 inch product would be listed as 22 x 28 inches.
How can I tell if a particular size is a good fit for where I want to hang it?
The simplest approach is just to cut out a flat piece of paper or cardboard to the size you think you will need and tape it onto the wall. Make sure to allow some space on either side so it doesn’t look squished in. You can also use our “See It In a Room” feature on each product page to get an idea of how your artwork will look relative to a piece of furniture.
Can your products be hung outdoors?
Our products are designed to be hung indoors. Although they may do well outdoors in a covered space with a mild climate, we cannot provide a guarantee that some deterioration might occur.
Do you offer framing for your canvases?
Working closely with a customer, we offer custom framing solutions to suit their specific design, style and budget requirements. Please contact us if you have chosen a particular canvas and we shall do our best to help you find the perfect frame.

Ap present we only ship to the United States
Who do you ship with?
Our orders are shipped via UPS Ground or the US Postal Service.
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
Yes we do.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping rates depend on the package size. Shippers today use dimensional weight rather than actual weight of a package to determine shipping fees. Dimensional weight is calculated using the length, width and height of your package and is typically greater than the actual package rate. Obviously the larger the package, the greater the cost.
How long will it take before I receive my order?
Generally it takes 7-10 business days. The actual timing depends on three factors:
- the time it takes for us to receive or print your artwork
- the time required for produce the final product (only for stretched canvases and aluminum mounts)
- the shipping destination – the farther we have to ship to from Arizona, the longer the shipping time
Where you live: shipping time is based on how far you are located from us in Arizona. Whereas shipping to California may only take 1-2 business days, shipping to the east coast is typically 5-6 business days.
Can I expedite my order?
You certainly can but please be aware that expedited shipping does incur extra charges. Shipping by air rather than ground shipping can be prohibitively expensive. Please contact us before ordering so we can provide you with modified pricing.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number from us.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
We are especially careful in how we package and protect your artwork. However accidents can happen. You only have to look in the back of a delivery van these days to wonder how anything arrives intact.
Please inspect your package before opening it. If there is obvious damage, we ask that you photograph it. If the artwork itself is also damaged then please photograph the damage and contact us immediately. DO NOT THROW OUT THE PACKAGING. We will contact the carrier who may then want to retrieve the packaging and artwork for inspection.
At the same time we can either begin the process of replacing the artwork or providing a refund.
What happens if my order is lost?
If your package fails to arrive and tracking information is unhelpful, then please contact us and we can initiate a trace. Hopefully the package can be found and redirected to you.
However if the package cannot be found, then we can either begin the process of replacing the artwork or providing a refund.
