Canvases intended for framing are stretched over 1 inch deep wooden stretcher bars. The side edges of the stretched canvas are left unfinished since these will eventually be hidden by a picture frame.
Museum wrap canvases are typically stretched over 1.5 inch deep stretcher bars and the sides painted in a dark complimentary color.
Gallery wrap canvases are stretched over 1.5 inch deep wooden stretcher bars.
Artwork mounted on aluminum or acrylic (full bleed) are set off the wall by 3/4 inch.
Salon acrylic mounts are set off the wall by 1.5 inches using the included stainless steel offset mounts.
