Angels
Angels are ubiquitous throughout the history of art. In addition to being a quintessential feature of traditional religious art, they appear almost everywhere. They have beeen depicted as cherubs or putti, as cupid with his quiver and most often as messangers. It is not unusual to see them meddling in human affairs.
