Where today most advertising is created on the computer, during the last century it was actual art form. Artists such as Leonetto Cappiello and Adolphe Cassandre created remarkably innovative designs to promote a wide variety of commercial products and services. Much of this artwork was initially produced in limited quantities and are now valued by collectors.
